Bringing over a Christmas tradition from my family, each year the kids get a new ornament for the tree. However, instead of waiting for it to be in their stocking, it is their first gift of the season that they get the night we put up our tree. We choose one that represents some thing from their year, either a special moment or their interests over the last year. I’m sure you will never guess who’s ornament is who’s!
